Humanitarian Efforts

Max International is a values-driven company. As stipulated in The Max Code, we want to build an extraordinary company that makes a difference in the lives of people throughout the world. Since our founding, we have been involved with numerous initiatives to make life better for many people.

Max Momentum Tour

Starting in July of 2010, Max International Co-founder Greg Fullerton and CEO Peter Nordberg started motoring across America on their Harleys, meeting with Associates and raising funds for a great cause, Prevent Child Abuse Utah.

Max International purchased a brand-new $36,000 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide to give to a random Associate who donates to PACU. Every cent donated goes straight to PCAU to support their important work. Our goal is to raise $100,000 and we need your help to get there.

Amigos of Honduras

One of these efforts is our involvement with Amigos of Honduras, which is dedicated to humanitarian work in the Comayagua area of Honduras. One of their primary efforts is to provide running water. Because children must spend much of their time transporting fresh water, this seemingly small change will make it possible for the children to attend school instead. Amigos of Honduras has also built two schools in the region. For more information and photos of the projects Max International is involved in, visit amigosofhonduras.org.

At Max's 2009 convention, our Associates donated $7,000 in cash and pledged monthly contributions totaling $14,000 to assist Amigos of Honduras. Max Associates have continued to contribute to Amigos of Honduras with donations and pledges, and at the Road to Diamond event in November 2009, more than $4,000 was raised. Max Supports Haiti Relief Efforts

In 1998, Dr. Jeff Randle of Salt Lake City founded Healing Hands for Haiti International Foundation. HHHIF is dedicated to providing rehabilitation training, treatment, education and equipment to the physically disabled in Haiti.

Before the 2010 earthquake, Healing Hands for Haiti operated one of three clinics in Haiti that provided rehabilitative therapy. They also had one of just two shops that produced prosthetic hands and feet. Both of these facilities in Haiti, plus two apartments and a guest house, were destroyed by the quake.

But that was far from the end of Healing Hands for Haiti. At the end of January, a team of 20 doctors and nurses, in the absence of a clinic, treated patients outside- helping 175 people in one day.

When Bob Kaelin, Vice President of Sales, learned of Healing Hands for Haiti's predicament, he took to the stage at the Las Vegas Showcase and asked Max Associates to make contributions to the charity. Whatever Associates pledged, Max would match. On Thursday, March 4th, Bob and Joe Voyticky, Chief Financial Officer, presented Dr. Randle with $10,020. Dr. Randle was deeply touched by Max's support.

He also outlined what HHHIF's priorities in Haiti are:
  • Reconstruct the prosthetics and orthotics facility.
  • Train Haitian prosthetics and orthotics technicians.
  • Rehabilitation training in Haiti.
  • Rebuild the headquarters.
  • Continue plans for a rehabilitation institute.
